Petal's
Dahlia Tuber Sales
2026/2027 Dahlia store opening
November 2026
We are excited to offer our dahlia tubers for shipping nationwide. Here are a couple things to know before you shop...
-
Our Dahlia Tuber store has closed for the 25/26 season. We will reopen around Thanksgiving with even more amazing varieties and will have multiple sales throughout the fall, winter and spring in 2026 - 2027.
-
We ship dahlia tubers November through May, utilizing a heat pack if required.
-
We do offer combined shipping for those placing more than one order. If you are placing a subsequent order and your order has not shipped yet, you can choose the Combined Shipping rate of $2.00 at checkout.
-
Petal, a Flower Farm guarantees that all dahlia tubers are healthy, true to name, and have at least one visible eye at the time of shipping.
-
All sales are final. No refunds will be issued once an order is placed.
-
We take great care to provide top-quality tubers; however, we cannot be responsible for tuber failure caused by improper storage, poor planting conditions, unpredictable weather, animal or insect damage, disease, or fungal issues. This includes losses due to excessive moisture, frost, drought, or extreme heat and humidity.
-
During unsafe weather conditions, we may delay shipping and will notify you if your order is being held. At our discretion, we may include a heat pack when conditions are cold but safe for transport.
-
All orders are shipped insured via USPS or another reliable carrier. Insurance covers loss or damage during shipping but does not cover cold damage or losses after safe delivery.
-
Petal, a Flower Farm is not responsible for losses that occur due to improper storage, planting media, overwatering, under-watering, or pre-starting practices.
-
If you choose to pot up tubers early, take cuttings, or start tubers indoors, please note that this is done at your own risk. We do not issue replacements or refunds for losses incurred during these processes.
-
If there is an issue with your order upon arrival, you must contact Petal, a Flower Farm within 5 days of delivery.
-
Please remember that:
-
Dahlia eyes are often dormant and can be difficult to see - our tubers may not be fully awake until April.
-
Healthy tubers vary in shape and size. Large tubers may have been deliberately cut to resize for shipping and storage which does not hurt the tuber.
-
Some varieties take up to 6 weeks to sprout after planting — patience is key!
-
Tubers must be stored between 45-55 degrees if they cannot be yet planted.
-
Tubers cannot freeze or they will lose viability

We reserve the right to cancel any item or order due to crop failure, damage, or other unforeseen circumstances prior to shipment. If that occurs, you will receive a full refund for the unshipped item(s)
-
We love these flowers as much as you do, and every effort is made to send healthy, viable tubers ready for success in your garden. Your care, attention, and growing conditions complete the process once they leave our farm.
