Lush Mix Dahlia Seeds

Available for preorder.
A little packet of possibility, gathered from our fields at Petal, a Flower Farm.
We grow over 1,500 varieties of dahlias, from tried-and-true workhorses to the newest and rarest unicorns. Our Lush Mix seeds are collected from dahlias with decorative, ball, stellar, and waterlily forms—flowers with layers of petals, rounded shapes, pointed silhouettes, and softly cupped blooms.
We depend on our pollinators to work their magic. By keeping our growing fields separated by these groups, we make it much more likely that your seedlings will inherit traits from the forms listed on the packet. Nature still has surprises in store: individual colors, shapes, and flower forms are never guaranteed.
That is the magic of growing dahlias from seed. Each seedling is a unique genetic combination—a new dahlia waiting to reveal itself for the very first time. You might discover a beautiful flower for your bouquets, an unexpected color combination, or something so special you’ll want to save its tubers and grow it again.
Plant them, tend them, and enjoy the anticipation. The first bloom is a little unveiling, and you get to be the first to meet it.
Approximately 25 seeds · Harvested in 2026
The flowers illustrated on the packet represent the source forms; seedlings will have their own individual appearance.
